Chat sync and how to link your account.

What it does

VIVA-MC's Discord is connected to the game through a plugin called DiscordSRV.

In-game chat is connected to a Discord channel, so messages go both ways in real time. If you post from Discord, players in game see it too.

Messages like who joined or left and how someone died are posted to Discord automatically.

Linking is optional. You can play without it. Linking connects your Discord name with your in-game name.

Run a command in game

Run /discord link to get a 4-digit code.

Send the code to the Discord bot

Open Discord and send just that code to the bot as a DM (direct message). You don't need to post in a channel.

The bot replies when linking is complete. After that, check your link status with /discord status.
